As per directives of the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), the two homeopathic medical colleges in the city — D N De Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital and The Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital — started mass distribution of Homoeopathic remedy - Arsenicum Album 30, a prophylactic medicine and immunity booster, for the people residing in the Covid-19 affected areas of Tangra, Narkeldanga, Maniktala and Rajabazar.
D N De Homoeopathic hospital authorities have started areawise distribution of the drug in ward 58 of KMC, under Entally constituency area with the help of Tangra police station.
“The drug was distributed to around 4,000 to 5,000 people on Wednesday. We have set a target to distribute the drug to about one lakh people in the next one week,” said D N De Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Administrator and Principal Dr. Shyamal Kumar Mukherjee.
